Women in Naval Service

Women in Naval Service is a four-volume journal series honoring the legacy, leadership, and lived experience of women who serve at sea and ashore.
Each notebook is designed not only as a place to write, but as a quiet companion. One that reflects the breadth of women’s contributions to the Navy across time, rank, and community. From those who paved the way, to those who bore the ultimate cost of service, to those leading and commanding today, this series recognizes that history is not only recorded; it is carried forward.
These volumes are intentionally understated and thoughtfully constructed, offering space for reflection, note-taking, and personal record. Whether used for leadership development, professional growth, or private thought, they are meant to be lived in.

Trailblazers

This 200-page lined notebook (6 × 9 inches) features full-color designs throughout.

It is not an exhaustive account, but it seeks to honor women sailors, both enlisted and officers, who went first in their field. From Chief Loretta Walsh to Admiral Franchetti, this demonstrates that women can and do lead at the highest standards both on the deckplates and off.

Valor & Sacrifice

This 200-page lined notebook (6 × 9 inches) features full color throughout the pages.

From WAVES to post-9/11 conflict, women have paid the ultimate sacrifice serving our nation. While not an exhaustive accounting of lives lost, this volume seeks to honor the memory of those who came before us and paved the way through blood and sacrifice.

Leadership

This 200-page lined notebook (6 × 9 inches) features full-color designs along the top edge of each page.

This notebook contains quotes about leadership from today’s front-line leaders. From petty officer third class to rear admiral, this collection of quotes is sprinkled throughout the pages, intended to inspire and evoke deep thoughts about your own leadership.

This was such a beautiful project; we intend to release a second version with new art and new quotes for Women’s History Month 2027.

Legacy & Future

This 200-page lined notebook (6 × 9 inches) contains full-color designs throughout.

The first half of this notebook is a guided journal, different from the others. There are four sections, each with 3-4 questions for reflection, followed by 13 pages to respond.

Section themes: Identity & Values, Choice & Accountability, Leadership & Influence, and Legacy & Future.

On page 60, it transitions to a regular lined notebook. No more prompts, just open space for your freedom to take work notes or jot down your dreams, fears, and goals.
